I am a college graduate as of August 4th. 2022. I finally did it… and man was it a long journey. Definitely not as “fun” as living off grid, but certainly as challenging. So what’s next? I take my National Boards in early October and the state licensing exam shortly after, then I will be a licensed intern. After a year of internship, I will be an official Funeral Director in the wonderful state of Minnesota. I think my Grandmother and Father would be quite proud, I know my mom is.
I’m still living above the funeral home I work at and have been offered a full-time position once I pass my exams. I’ve been here going on 4 years now and I really love the atmosphere. I’m not interested in taking on the role as a funeral home owner, even though my license will allow it… too much stress and pressure in my opinion.
This past year has been full of adventure. I’ve gotten to meet some of my closest friends from the internet live and in person. Some I’ve known for 15 years, others for about 7. I met Smokey out in NYC and he took me to dinner in the Bronx. I met Johnny B and spent some quality time in the ManCave Live studio. I met Dolly and learned she was really a man. I met Jerry and realized he’s just a quirky in real life as on the internet. I also met Harmar and Trixi and played dress up at my place. I met Tori for the fourth time… soon to be a fifth. I met Viking and we did an escape room. In early May I am going on a cruise (my graduation present to myself) with some of these people. I can’t wait to see them again!!!
Now that school is over I have all this free time to myself; what to do? I’m still doing LEGO on youtube so if you haven’t checked it out yet: http://www.youtube.com/c/supertrampthemortician. You can also find some other videos there.
Remember: Live life to the fullest and follow your dreams!
