It’s been pretty hectic these past few weeks. Things are going amazing and surprisingly very fast. I see no reason that we can’t have this project completed and moved to the property by June 19th.
Here is a recap of the following weeks with some pictures. Pay no mind to the date & time on the photos… I didn’t have it set right LOL.
Day #2 Subfloor insulation and sheeting.
Day #3 Framing the side walls.
Day#4 Installing the rafters and framing the end wall (tongue side).
Day#5 Framing end wall (tail end), sheeting and tar papering the roof.
Day#6 Tyvek installation, electrical, roof gables, installing end window.
Day #7 Installing remaining windows and end wall sheeting (tongue side).
Day #8 (Rain Day) Staining wall sheeting.
Day#9 Sheeting remaining walls.
Day #10 Spraying interior with insulation.
As you can see… we’ve been busy. I can’t wait to start on the interior.
i do like the insulation idea but did you get the running lights put in so when you travel down hwy 2 youll have stop turn and brake lights.and have to be on your truck plug in.the upper edge will catch windon roof. like the small window in front thats good and door to rear.yepthe insul pink under floor,is it spayed also as that will keep water from getting under as it may have . be weathered and good insul factor too.do you have gas lines for stove ? is gas lines in for off peak water heater? water ,tanks, etc fauct and drains,.sewage? any thing needed or is it run poop in woods then run back? lol! t.v , inter net ?things to think of ? oh DOGGY DOOR ! they gotta get out lol..

We are just using the trailer lights, we don’t need any on the house itself. The trailer is pre-wired at the factory. As far as appliances go: I’m using the gas stove that I had in the tipi (I bought these things because I knew I could use them in the future for the tiny home. The gas line will run in through the wall later in construction. The toilet is the same composting toilet as in the tipi. I will connect to a hose for my water supply and use the same on-demand propane water heater I used in the outdoor shower. The sink will drain under the counter into a bucket, the water can then be used to water the garden. The fridge is electric and will run off the wind/solar power generator. And LOL my dogs are using the big people door 🙂
